- The character must want something. Think of their GOAL.
- Distinguishing feature. Think the Joker's face in Batman or Shadow's physique in American Gods. It could also be a quirk like a face twitch during conversations.
- Personality. Are they virtuous, vicious, or volatile?.
- Intelligence. How do they reason through situations?
- Expertise. A plumber and astrophysicist will approach certain situations differently.
